Mongolian tents are a kind of house of Mongolian herdsmen. Easy to construct and relocate, it is suitable for livestock production and nomadic life. In ancient times, Mongolian tents are called yurt. According to the records of Sketch of Mongols: "Yurt Tents have two types: Made in Yanjing, with willow as the skeleton, just like the Fusi (a network architecture) in Southern China, it can be rolled, with a door opening in the front, an umbrella frame on the top, and a window on it called skylight, and dressed in felt. It can be carried on a horse. Made in meadow, with a hard ring made of willow, and diameter fixed with felt, it cannot be rolled and should be carried on the cart. With the development of animal husbandry economy and the improvement of herdsmen's life, yurts are steadily replaced by Mongolian tents.
The size of Pengcheng Mongolian tents can be differentiated by the number of Hana, and usually there are 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12.
Although it looks small outside, there is a big use area inside. Besides, it boasts good indoor ventilation, good lighting conditions, warm in winter and cool in summer, and rain and wind proof. It is suitable for nomadic tribes to live and use.
